Church for Dogs?

It’s pretty common knowledge that most dog owners care a great deal about their pet’s wellbeing.  However, where regular baths, a healthy diet and dog insurance are good enough for most owners, there’s always one group of people who have to take it further.  This time, the crazies happen to be in the Calvary Episcopal Church in Massachusetts, which has decided to open a “Perfect Paws Pet Ministry”, allowing local dogs to worship the Lord and ensure they go to Heaven.

Treating Asthma in Dogs

Asthma attacks involve the respiratory passages swelling up and filling with mucous, making it hard for the dog to breathe. In severe cases this can lead to death, making it essential that asthma is diagnosed and treated as soon as possible.

Asthma attacks can happen suddenly and there is rarely time to get your dog to a vet. In most cases, the attack will only last a few minutes before calming down and subsiding. However, should a dog suffer from a serious asthma attack, an epinephrine injection is sometimes required to reduce the swelling on the bronchi and remove the dog from danger.
